Recorded at the Furka Pass in the Alps with an infrared surveillance device, the camera captures a man throwing heavy wood chunks into a black void, with the falling crumbs providing the only reference point to estimate the depth of the gorge. The man moves in a repetitive cycle, alternating between vigorous launches and moments of stillness, reminiscent of actions that occur without clear motives or purposes.
