This piece was installed at the Humboldt Forum opening event of 2019, a commemoration of the 250 anniversary of Alexander Von Humboldt and the 30th year of the Berlin Wall fall. The photograph captures the precise moment when a demolition reveals an old moisted wall. Viewers contemplate with the same astonishment as the witnesses a landscape of heavy debris, a rupture as much as a beginning point the image leaves more questions than answers and the wall stands as a declaration about the magnitude of history and the material weight that it leaves behind.
